A few ideas, yet I am sure Michelle will have a thorough list. What length of transection, distal or not? Wat difference will it make and why. Discuss what he sees as the window of opportunity for maximum period of weight loss --6 months? 9 months? His post-op diet recommendations. Is the hospital familiar with gastric bypass patients? Will they try to give sugar products to an RNY patient (mine did)? Vitamins recommended, grams protein, and his thoughts on supplements. Use of binder (highly recommended in my opinion!)? Hope some of these help.
