Question:
Will Loseing Weight Have Any Changes To My Tattoo
I have larger tattoo on my back, and I concerned that losing a very large amount of weight would distort my art work, sag, or not able to see the details in the art work anymore.... If ANYONE has any in put please let me know... Thanks — Melissa M. (posted on May 23, 2002)

I have a good sized sun on my tummy. I did get this tatoo when I weighed
about 170. Since then I had two children and gained and lost 100 pounds.
It looks the same as it did when I got it. The only difference that I have
noticed is that the color seems a bit brighter. Could be my imagination,
but you would think that with it getting smaller, the color would be more
intense. Who knows. I actually had my galbladder removed lap and they had
to cut into the middle of it for one of the incisions. After it was all
done, the surgeon said 'look, I even made the incision right on the outline
and was real careful about putting it back together.' You cant even tell
that it was even cut!!!

I've posted this question before because I worry, myself. Most people says
it just gets smaller, but everyone is different. I will post pictures of
my tats on my website as I lose weight so people can see if they change.
Good luck to you!
