Thanks for asking!! I'm 7 yrs out, and have not really had any complications other that some saggy belly and arm skin, and that's not really so bad. I started at 338 and bottomed out at 162, which is pretty skinny for me being 5'11, but I pretty much stay around 175-185. I'm actually pretty comfortable here, but honestly wouldn't mind staying closer to 170-175. It's a funny thing, the smaller you are, you really notice the extra 5 or 10 pounds where as before, I could gain/lose 20 and not tell much difference. I kind of check myself by the way my clothes fit rather than the scale. I'm in an 8-10 now, sometimes 6 depending on the stetch. I am planning to get a tummy tuck sometime this year. I can tolerate alot more now as far as sugar and stuff goes, but I've honestly lost most of my taste for it. I think the dumping had alot to do with it back in the beginning... re-trained my brain. I must say that my surgery has done all that it was intended to do for me, and for that I'm thankful. So that's the physical side of it for me. There is also a HUGE impact that getting healthy has had on my life emotionally and socially, but that's a LONG story... Seriously, if anyone wants to hear about my experiences, both cons as well as pros, feel free to email me anytime @ FaeryGodsister@yahoo and I'll be more than willing to share. I will say now that it's been the best descsion I've ever made for MYSELF and I wouldn't change a thing!! Consider EVERYTHING, and good luck!!
