Question:
I am 6 weeks post op and have a cold/flu.

You can try any of the following: Benadryl, Dimetapp, Robitussin, Sudafed (which I use every day), Triaminics and Tylenol Cold Products. Ones to avoid: Advil, Alka-Seltzer, Vanquish, Aspirin, Bufferin, Coricidin, Cortisone, Excedrin, Florinol, Ibuprofen, Motrin (although I was told by my surgeon I could use occasionally as long as it is not on a daily basis) and Pepto-Bismol. Hope this list helps you find something you can use :)
