Question:
What should I expect at the first visit? Has anyone had the new banded procedure?

I answered this this morning but for some reason it didn't post, hopefully this one will. I've gone for my first visit, it was about an hour. The doctor took my weight and height, did an exam and then we talked. I had typed up my complete weightloss history, medical history for myself and my immediate family. I listed my comorbitities and they're relation to my weight. I stated why I felt this surgery was right for me. He was impressed with the work I had gone to and said it would save him alot of time and made his job easier. I have heard this from other AMOS folks, which is why I did it. We set up my appointments for the psych eval and the dietician. I know each doctor does things differently but this may give you an idea anyway. Good Luck!!
