Has anyone dumped or gotten sick on veg. V-8 juice

I drink regular V8 and Spicy hot V8 and I have never dumped.

Both my husband and I love V-8 post-surgery. I am four months out and he is seven months out. No problems and it even contains protein!

I've recently discovered V-8.. I never liked it before, but NOW (1 mo. post op), it's just the best thing! However, I called my doc to find out if it's ok to drink. They said NO because of the high acidic value. That if we drink large amounts, we could get ulcers. I'm depressed now! The one thing I've found that I REALLY enjoy, I shouldn't have!
