I am struggling to swallow giant calcium citrate capsules twice a day as well. — Julia M. (posted on October 5, 2001)

I'm not sure about the vitamines... but as for the calcium citrate, I'm
feeling your pain. My nutritionist and doctor told me that I specifically
need calcium citrate because the calcium carbonate (Found in tums and other
products) does not get absorbed correctly due to the lack of stamach acid
to mix with. However, CitriCal just came out with tablets that mix with
water and makes like asugar free orange drink. They're called citrical
liqui-tabs and so far the only place I can find them is online at
drugstore.com. Hope that helps!!
