Question:
Payment Options/Self-pay in Pasadena/L.A. CA, area

I've noticed that there seems to be some variance in answers to the question "How much does self-pay WLS cost?" Some people who self-paid said that consults, surgery, follow-up visits, even complications, were included in one price. What type of research did you do to find well-quakified, fairly priced surgeons, etc? Also, has anyone in the Pasadena/L.A. (California) area self-paid and had a really favorable WLS experience? I didn't self-pay, but I had an awesome surgeon in Pasadena at USC University Hospital. Dr. Anthone is the Director of the Bariatric Department there & has been for 10 years. You can call and investigate their self pay policy at 1-800-USC-CARE. Good luck to you!
