You just had major surgery and you are working very long hours. Make sure
you are taking care of yourself and getting enough sleep as well as getting
in enough protein and water. This will help with energy levels. Don't
forget the vitamins. I recently heard that royal jelly capsules were loaded
with stress vitamins & other essential nutrients so I began taking it
and have noticed a huge difference in my energy level. If you are
interested, I can give you contact info for the company I purchased from at
a VERY reasonable price.

I'm also two months post op (May 8th) and I'm tired all the time too. I
love to walk and don't as I am always tired. I gets lots of sleep. I sure
don't know how you work all those hours. You should be tired. ;) Maybe it's
the work and not the surgery that is keeping you tired.

Personally, I didn't feel back to normal until I was about 12 weeks post-op
(about 3 months). Give it time, and don't push yourself too hard. Get
your vitamins and protein in. Ask your family to be patient with you...the
final results will make you all happy!

Your body needs to recover. I doubt it has. Are you taking B12? It is a
must for recovery and energy. You need a minimum of 500 mcg. a day of
this. Are you eating regularly? Are you exercising? Believe it, exercise
does improve energy levels! Your body has been through a LOT! Give it
time. Pamper yourself. It will get better if you work the plan. Your
work schedule seems very extreme to me. Is there any way you could only
work 40 hours? Even that would have been too much for me early on! Take
care and take it easier!

I am using a sublingual b-12 (1000mcg) b-6 (5mg) and folate (167 mcg). It
dissolves under your tongue. I ordered it from Trivita Way inc.
1-888-432-4829 $24.99 for 30 tablets. I have been only on them for 1 week
but it seems to be working. I have not had my surgery yet but I am trying
to find things now that work for me. Good Luck!

I was 2.5 months out and went to Disneyland, thinking I was "all that
and sidedish". Alas, I was not! Fatigue is physically and MENTALLY
taxing. You will expirience it a lot in your first 3-4 months. Then, one
day, almost instantly you'll feel "normal". Tell the kids and
hubby to lay off and let Ma sleep. Once she's awakened and recovered, THEY
will not be able to keep up with YOU.
Do not tolerate this behavior from them- especially if their behavior
towards you IS not helping your recovery, and is making you depressed.
It's your turn to be selfish, as they'll be able to reciprocate to you
plenty o' times in the next 18 years or so.....

It took me a good 12 wks before I noticed any increase in energy. I had
blood work and it indicated low iron. My hemoglobin is fine though. I
started taking ferrous fumerate and I am taking B-12 shots at home. I give
them to myself. Little tiny needle and no big deal at all. My iron is
getting better each time I have it taken and my energy level is great. I
am taking water aerobics and walking each day. When my iron finally gets
normal, I will really feel great! The b-12 seems to have made the most
difference in my energy. I take a shot each two wks and can tell
immediately that I feel better. In my mind? I don't think so. My husband
and I are leaving on a cruise to Alaska this weekend. I couldn't even have
considered doing that until now. I feel fine and I plan to use the
pampering on the ship to the fullest extent! Hey, after all, I deserve it
I think. I hope to lose 5 lbs on this cruise...lol....is that possible?
Good luck!
