Question:
How often should I change my bandage when I am post op?
I was just curious to know if 2 times a day is good or should I change it more often? Should I use peroxide on it? Neosporin? Any other advice you could give me would be great. Thanks! — [Anonymous] (posted on June 24, 2001)

Hi, my doctor recommended that I change the bandage once a day...no
Neosporin, no peroxide. Wash it with soap and water in the shower, make
sure it is real dry and apply the bandage. Best of luck!

My surgeon removed my bandages on Day 2 post op and I didn't wear one
again. I just kept it clean and dry with no neosporin on it. Washed with
Dial in the shower. Good luck
