I bruise very easily. I also hemmoraged after I had my tonsils out, after childbirth,

and bleed internally into my breast after a biopsy. I am concerned gastric by-pass surgery could pose some additional complications, perhaps life threatening, for me. Has anyone had the surgery with a similar history?    — [Anonymous] (posted on June 5, 2001)

This sounds like a question about a potentially serious complication and you should speak to a bariatric surgeon about it. Maybe there are medications or pre-op precautions you can take to prevent this during WLS but only your medical professional would know the answers to this. Good luck to you.
