Question:
Has anyone ever appeared before their insurance board at an appeal hearing? If so,

what did you take with you to support your case? I am basically arguing the obesity/morbid obesity differences. My insurance has a clause that states no treatment or surgery for obesity. It does not reference morbid obesity. I have filed three written appeals which state the differenes between O and MO and they say all obesity is the same. Does anyone have any advice for me on what to do or say before the appeal board? Has anyone ever won on appeal when it has gone to this level? Tracy    — Tracy P. (posted on June 1, 2001)

Yes i drove 2 hours and and a few days i found that i was denied for the 2nd time they have no heart bottom line insurance companies don't care MVP is my insurance company do not give up i am fighting to the next level outside source good luck
