Has anyone been approved with dr snyder in thornton,co.

having problems w/the referrals for the pulmonary work-up and the mental heath work-up. the dr's that dr snyder wants me to see is not in my network    — cynthia H. (posted on May 2, 2001)

I am very familiar with this problem. I was denied coverage or the pulmonary even though the dr. was in network, they said it's not covered for "that" diagnosis, which I assume was "morbid obesity". Also the psychologist, well, she's fine but I had problems with billing. I am going to have to pay for both out of pocket. I can tell you that Dr. S. and his staff are really good about working with you but I was foolish and bulled ahead without pre-authorization so now I'll have to pay for these pre-op tests. However, I'm sure that his office would work with you and your ins. co. to find someone in network. Email me if you want more details.
