I need to find a suitable Dr.in my area...Modesto,Stockton,area.

We are moving to that area and have been in contact with several persons from this board that have had (or are going to have) the surgery. Have you tried looking on the Peer Support page? I know that my doctor (here in WI) has modeled their surgery format around the "guru" of this surgery that is in Fresno. That may be too far to drive, but there are several doctors in your area, just look on the Peer Support board and GOOD LUCK!! Hugs Jann

The doctors in the Sacramento area that do WLS are at the UCD Medical Center and a Dr. named Dr. Patching. Also a Doctor in Roseville that does the WLS is Dr. Waldrep. There are several Doctors in Fresno that do WLS. I am using Dr Felix. He was able to get me in much sooner than the other Fresno Doctors due to the fact he broke away from his partner and is starting up his own clinic. He also took my insurance and does the procedure Lap. Hope this helps ypu. Pamela Nicholas

I too live in that area and the Doctors I have heard so many good things about are in Modesto they are Dr. Coates and Dr. Coirin. I have the number as well if you are interested
