Question:
How long should we wait before using a tanning bed post-op?

I usually use my tanning bed for appox.5-10 minutes a day to get a good base tan since I am prone to burn without it.I will be having my surgery in a couple of days, and I know that I can't get in until after my staples are removed but I would like to hear from anyone that can tell me the time limit to wait after that.    — Benita B. Hey Benita, I was in a tanning bed as soon as I could drive myself to it. I was never told not to go. It was quite relaxing to me. I did however cover my scar because it was sensitive to the heat and I did not lay on my stomach for a long time!!!
