Question:
Any ideas on HOME exercise equipment?
I'm looking for a lightweight (if possible) machine, that will especially tone up arms and tummy. I have a small apartment--any that fold up to not take up much room? — Jeanne B. (posted on March 18, 2001)

Use 2-liter bottles of pop as weights.

I bought recently a recumbent exercise bike. Instead of a tiny, ass-numbing
bicycle seat, it has a seat like a theatre seat! It reclines back (thus
"recumbent"). Very easy on the back and butt.
It is low to the ground and you're legs reach out to peddle the front
wheel. It's a Schwinn.

well, videos are small and Richard Simmon's Sweatin' to the Oldies has some
great arms and tummy moves. I have a small, two bedroom house, and put my
exercise bike in the dining room after I moved the table aside. I bought a
Schwinn Air-Dyne Dual Action bike. It is great! I am up to five miles per
day. Good Luck!

Pro Form Space Saver Treadmill. It's wonderful, and takes up less than two
feet when closed. Also have a Pro Form stationary bike, but takes up about
four feet.

I have an exercise ball that I ABSOLUTELY LOVE! I believe now you can pick
them up in any fitness department!!
