Question:
Where do I find Nioxin Shampoo?

Hello, I am having an open RNY on March 15th and would like to buy the Nioxin shampoo because I am not thrilled about my hair coming out and what I have read about this product, it helps! I have been to Walmart and to a couple of pharmacies to look for it on the shelves and I dont see it anywhere. I've heard that you can buy Nioxin at your hair salon or a beauty supply store. Not everyone experiences hair loss however. I'm almost 6 months post op and have lost a little hair, but not even my hair stylist can notice (of course I started out with really thick hair!). Good luck with your surgery. Even if you do lose some hair it's worth it!!! I've lost 90 pounds in 6 months and feel better than I have in years!!!!!!!!

Call your beautitian or some other beauty shops. By the way, I used this and it worked for me. BUT, it is essential that you get the shampoo AND the scalp conditioner -- its the combination that works (they said.)

P.S. I almost forgot to tell you, I use Nioxin products, and I also, in addition to using the cleanser & the scalp therapy, use the Cytogin. It seems to help stimulate the scalp & hair growth!

You can find Nioxin Shampoo and conditioner at most hair supply stores. I saw it at Sally's(California).

The 1-800 phone number for Nioxin is:1-800-628-9890. They can tell you a salon in your area that sells Nioxin(it is only sold in licenced salons). You can get a 45 day kit with the cleanser, scalp therapy, and the treatment for 19.99 - right now there are free Nioxin vitamins in the kit which will last you 45 days. Nioxin works best if the whole system is used daily. It really does work!!!
