Yes, Dr. Livingston at UCLA Medical Center accepts medi-cal. I have a
friend who has Medi-cal and had his surgery there.

Try Dr. Anthone at USC University Hospital. Last I heard, he took
Medi-Cal. 1-800-USC-CARE. Good Luck to you! --->>

The WL surgical team at UC Davis in Sacramento (916)734-2680 accepts
Medi-Cal, but I have heard that the waiting list for Medi-Cal patients is
quite long. Best of luck in your search.

I am fairly confident that all UC hospitals will accept Medi-Cal. But,
like the other posts, I'm sure that the wait is long. Check out the city
nearest where you live. I know that in San Diego, UCSD Hospital takes
Medi-Cal, and my doctor, Dr. Orloff accepts it. Good luck!

Dr. Peter Laport in Fountain Valley takes Medi_cal and does the RNY and Dr.
Kasheshian in Delano takes medi-cal and does the Duodenal Switch($2000
program fee though. Dr. Laport's waiting list is about 2 months.
