Question:
Does anyone have experience with BC/BS of AZ PPO, group for getting approved?

Yes, I have BC/BS of AZ PPO, and they were great. It took about a month to be approved, on the condition I had a psych eval. After that it was cake. I had all my ducks in a row first. Had all my paperwork ready. All my documentation. And I worked very closely with our bc/bs insurance rep. She was great. I had heard some bad things about bc/bs but it all went fairly smooth. I am 3 mos. postop and down 84 pounds! God Bless!

I did and they were absolutely wonderful! My open RNY with Dr Zahn was almost 1 year ago and I have lost a total of 165 pounds. Now if I can only get the buggers to approve my plastic surgery. My denial said something about the pics not showing the rashes indicated.....grrrrrrr!
