Question:
Anyone had surgery approved by CIGNA PPO based out of Tennessee?

Yes, I did and I had absolutely no problems and no fight. My doctor sent in his paperwork on a Monday and I was approved and had a surgery date (that actually got moved up by 2 months) by Wednesday. Good Luck!

Dear Lisa, If I understand your question right, your asking about the Cigna office in Tenn? All my husbands insurance goes through the Chattanooga Office in Tenn. And I can tell you this, we have had Nothing but **TROUBLE** from them. My first attempt with them, was back in June and we were denied, then we sent in the appeal in Sept, was confirmed by two different people in the office they had it, and was told it would take at least 60 days for a answer. I hated to wait but I did. Then at the 60 day mark we called and they said they didnt have it. UGH!!! So we contacted the people that said they had recieved and they were like oh yeah we have it right here, but only on Nov 3 was it sent back in.So im waiting again. As far as that particular office goes we have had sooooo much trouble with them, with this procedure and all our claims. I was told by many people that this office is the worst to go through for anything.Im still waiting for my approval after all this,and hoping with each day I get it. I hope this helps some, Please keep track of all your documents, keep full names, dates, times you talk to them etc. It will help you if you run into the same thing I did..GOOD luck, and let me know how it goes for you.....:o)
