Question:
Looking for a good Liquid Protien
Hi all, Just wondering, can someone recommend a good liquid protien, I have been taking the powder, but I am getting bored with it. My weight loss is going fine. I am down 38 pounds from April 24th. Any Help is well appreciated! Thanks AnnMarie Ward [email protected] — AnnMarie W. (posted on June 19, 2000)

GNC has a great one called Pure Protein. I can cost $2.99. I am talking a
powder form called 95 Protein. It is good and rather inexpensive from GNC.
Good luck.

I found another liquid protein made by challenge at GNC. It is cherry
flavored. I don't like it straight (taste is very intense), but I add it
to Crystal Light, and it's fine. If you add it to Crystal Light ice tea or
lemondade, it is very tart tasting. If you add it to their strawberry-kiwi
flavor, it tastes rather sweet, so it's just a matter of preference. 3
tablespoons gives 17g of protein. I had also tried the honey tasting stuff
mentioned below, but didn't care for it. And the biggest problem I found
was trying to get it all down in one sitting. Unfortunately once you open
the package which has 30g protein, the potency of what you don't use
degrades within a short period of time. (This info is according to one of
their representatives whom I had contacted.) So if you can't tolerate it
all at once, as I couldn't, then you waste a lot of it, and as you said,
it's not cheap. Good luck!

I know you said you're tired of the powder - but I found one that's
great!!!! It is called Spiru-Tein and it is WONDERFUL. Try it at your
health food store. It also comes in packets so you can try various
flavors.
