Question:
I have not seen a plateau as long as mine.
I have scanned all questions/answers and have not seen a plateau like mine. In fact, I'm terrified. I am 8 months post-op (lap MGB) and have lost 55 pounds and not one pound during the past 4 months. I'm exercising 5 days a week, drinking lots of water, paying attention to calories/fat/sugar. Anybody else ever get this stuck? I'm about halfway to my goal. Is this it? Why don't you email me and give me a weeks run down of what you eat
and drink.(day by day)don't leave out anything.. Your dilemma does
sound odd for sure, and I know quite stressful.. Have you spoke with
your surgeon or at least PCP..You should be still having follow-up
visits with surgeon I would think.. My surgeon encourages as many
follow ups as we want for free.. Are you retaining water? feet
swelling? Have you had lab work done lately? Has your thyroid been
tested? Any more suggestions out there members.

I to had the same problem and I was screaming (LOL) I knew I was doing
everything i was supposed to do I have made up my mind that I will have to
fight for every pound I had my surgery on 12/22/05 My Bmi Fat weight was
162 pounds now 6 months later my fat weight is 99 pounds My scale moves
about a pound every 2 weeks I have thought about drowning it in the pool
(LOL) Then guess what I started trying on clothes I went from a 22 to an 18
skipped right over size 20 I don't understand it but I am not fretting it
(LOL) I walk 6 miles a day 23 minute miles I have a rottweiller on my left
side and a can of pepper spray in my right Here in Illinois it has been in
the 90's so I walk at 4 am and when I don't feel like it I tell my self
just go a mile then I say I will go another mile. some sites just tell you
the good points and some people have great results i just happen to be one
that will have to fight for every pound I had a few problems with my
surgery I was down for 3 months after what i went through Do you really
think a stupid scale is going to stop me (LOL) I keep telling it hey dip
wad garbage day is Tuesday (LOL)
Good luck to everyone If anyone would like an E-mail buddy
Please write address is [email protected] In my opinion support is
just not for the good results it is also for the times when things are not
going to smoothly
have a great 4th of July weekend
