Question:
How can staple line tear out again and so soon?

I had VBG 2 years ago with staple line disruption. this resulted in my having a roux en y, Feb 3, 2000. The doctor used staples again 8 rows vs. sectioning my stomache. well I was having touble throwing up and had endoscopy done the opening into my intestin was 2mm the dr. also saw my staple line breaking down!!now I am freaking out my surgeon put me back on liquids hopeing it will heal closed. any info would help. can it really heal back closed?? thank you    — kathy P.
