The thought that you can't have any sugar is wrong. You can have the
natural sugar in fruits. Fat free light yougurt has about 2 grams of
sugar. you can have that. My
diet program from BTC allows about 2 grams of sugar in a sitting. Most
people will dump with more. Some don't . I for one don't intend to find
out which catagory I am in.
It will be a safety net for me, and the thoughts of dumping
really don't turn me on. I hope this helps. I am sure the
pro's will jump in with good answers.

Yes, your brain does need sugar, but that doesn't mean you have to eat
sugar. The sugar in your blood is the source of energy for all the cells
in your body, including your brain cells. That sugar is glucose. If you
eat glucose, your body can use it directly. If you eat other foods with
calories in them, your body can use the molecules in the food to make
glucose. So, don't worry that you have to eat sugar to survive. You can
be perfectly healthy with very little sugar in your diet.
