Question:
About How long after surgery do the staples come out?

Each surgeon is different. Some don't use staples at all, just steri-strips. I had my surgery on 12/08 and the staples came out right before I left the hospital on 12/10.

Hi! I went in to the hospital on Tuesday and they came out two weeks later. They took out the big stitches first. Then the staples and finally the small stitches.

Eileen, my doctor took mine out after 2 1/2 weeks. I found them to be miserable and as soon as they came out, I felt like a new woman! Just a FYI,,I showered everyday with mine and it helped the soreness and cleaned it. Good Luck!
