has anyone had the WLS. done by a Dr. Ostross at UCSF in San Francisco?

Dr. Ostroff (that's the correct spelling) is nothing but a QUACK! If I were you I would not waste the time to see him. I saw him last Sept. and he totally humiliated me! I was only 100 lbs over weight and he said that before he would EVEN consider the surgery I would need to lose 10% of my excess weight. Duh! If I could do that I would'nt be sitting in your office! I think he's a colon doctor, because he said that he wanted to exam me and all he did was give me a rectal exam. Please listen to me and stay away from that QUACK! I left there in tears. The best doctor in No. Cal. is Dr. C. Gary Cooper in Chico 530*891-1651. He is well worth the drive! He will listen to you and he does not make you fell like it was YOUR fault that you gained weight.
