has anyone had the procedure covered by medicare in the houston

Try finding a surgeon in a teaching facility (hospital). I find them more lenient than others.

I am in Houston and do not know of any Dr.'s who accept medicaid for WLS. Try the Texas Rehabilitation Commission. Based on your age and work history, they will sometimes pay for WLS is you will be able to return to the work force.
