Question:
Has anyone tried lowfat peanut butter as a source of protein?

Peanut butter is a great source of a tiny bit of protein. If you need 60g
per day, it is unlikely that you can get enough PB and its vehicle
(cracker, bread) into your pouch to reach 60g. Use a high qaulity
supplement to be CERTAIN you are getting enough.

I do peanut butter occasionally, but it is very dense and
sits very heavy. So I can only eat a minimal amount of it
at one time. And most of the low fat brands, like Jif,
replace that fat with sugar.

I love it. I don't put it on bread. I just lick it off the spoon. If you
shop around and try the different brands you will find some are better
tasting than others. My preferrence is Jif reduced fat. YUMMY

I learned from an nutritionist, there is ptoein and then there is complete
protein. Peanut butter is not a complete brotein, iti s mixed with wheat
bread or sesame seeds. Other nuts are complete protein, not peanuts.
