Question:
I have a large ventral hernia. Would that stop me from being a candidate for RNY ?

Most likely they would be able to repair the hernia at the same time they do the RNY.

You will be able to have the RNY. I consulted my surgeon BECAUSE I have a large ventral hernia, and he discussed the RNY procedure with me. I will have both done at the same time.
