Question:
How serious is this disruption?

I just had EGD Friday which showed a SLD. How serious is this and how long is it safe to wait for surgery? I am in a lot of pain constantly. I go see my surgeon Wednesday to follow up the results of the endoscopy.    — torran P. (posted on June 27, 2005)

Well, if it is a regular SLD, not a very soon post-op leak, it's not life threatening, however you can reagin every single pound. So, revising soon is good. When mine went, the acid reflux was frying my esophagus, so I couldn't get there fast enough!

JMO, but when they go into fix it I would insist on them transecting me, so this cannot happen again.
