You can start driving once you are off of the narcotic pain killers and
feel comfortable behind the wheel. When I say comfortable, I mean that you
feel like you would be able to handle a vehicle of that size in the worst
case scenerio of an accident. You would think that driving isn't a big
deal, but you actually use more stomach muscles than you realize. Are you
open or laproscopic? That will make a big difference. Good luck to you!

You can drive when your dr oks it. If he tells you not to drive and you do
and then you get into an accident you may bear a much higher liability.
Your employer likely will not let you resume working until your doctor
releases you anyways.

Hi Amanda.......I do not know anout your Scott and White Insurance, but I
do know that Medicare, being your Primary, will pay 80& of your
surgery, doctor and hospital bills. Your secondary Insurance will or SHOULD
pay the remainder of everything else. Good Luck and keep in touch.
