Does Ga. still have a state law prohibiting insurance denial

Unless outlined in your policy as not being a covered expense, I have been under the impression that it was law that insurance companies in Ga. pay for WLS if applicant met guidelines.    — Jerry B. (posted on September 28, 2004)

Tricare denied my daughter twice for the Laparoscopic RNY but will pay for the Open. Not sure if that helps answer your question. But it was a denial in Georgia and she did meet the requirements.
