Question:
how long does the lap band surgery take?

Mine took about an hour and a half .. most take anywhere from 30 minutes to 90 minutes, like mine. I spent 2.5 days in the hospital, not from complications, but because I had so far to drive home, and would be so far away post-op (4 hrs) they wanted to make sure I was in perfect health before releasing me.

Mine took a little over an hour. :) I was three hours away from my surgeon, so I stayed overnight and then the hospital paid for a room at a local hotel for the next night.

My surgery took about 35 minutes,I stayed overnight ans was on my way home by 10 am. Lisa F
