Question:
My implants are slow to drop. I wear an ace bandage at night.

I am 6 weeks post op. What can I do to hurry up my implants to drop? I do not want to have other surgeries. Help.    — Amy P. (posted on May 27, 2004)

Were you given the strap? I hated that thing! Anyways,it made me drop quickly also did your PS say anything about massaging? If you pinch your implant from the sides downward it opens the pocket more.Sorry dont have any other suggestions,I dropped quickly,did you get unders? They can take up to a year to settle fully,some women take months.why dont you ask this on th plastic surgery side they might answer better.

Amy, there's a support website; www.breasthealthonline.org that has a specific board for augmentation. You'll get great help there and the women are wonderful...Please check it out..I had a reduction, so I can't help with info on the implants..Good luck! Denise 316/158

Hi Amy...massage, the strap, ACE wrap but mostly TIME will get most implants to drop. I've never had to operate to get it done !
