Tammy, there are several great docs in the CHarlotte area. Mine is in Hickory NC, Dr. Leland Cook. He is an excellent surgeon and a really nice man. Try posting your question on the NC message board. Your sure to get more responses! Pat

Try Dr. Melkonian, Dr. Voellinger & Dr. Wachsmuth-all part of the Presbyterian Healthcare Bariatric Surgery group!

My doctor was Dr. Voellinger. He did a great job and has a good bedside manner. There is also Dr. Corey Crain and Dr. Steven Theis in Rock Hill, SC, which is VERY close and just south of Charlotte.

Dr, Kamran Borhanian and Dr. Alex Espinal of Rock Hill. Both practice at Piedmont Medical, have specialties in laproscopy and are WONDERFUL.
