Question:
I am 9 months post op. Have felt like I had the flu for almost 3 weeks.

I just realized that I have had tan-colored bowel movements for about the same length of time. Today it looked almost white. What can the problem be? My bowel movements have finally become pretty regular.    — Nancy O. (posted on January 24, 2004)

I would call my doctor. PCP would be fine. Light/white stools can be sign of liver problems. Flu like symptoms along with the stools could mean you have hepatitis. Call your DR!

Could also be Gall Bladder. My stools got light as well. At any rate I would call the doc.
