Question:
Has anyone tried the table form of Concentrated Predigested Protein?
I feel that I am not getting enough protein in my daily diet at 6 weeks out. Has anyone tried the tablet form of consuming protein and what was the outcome? — Mary M. (posted on September 29, 2003)

When I first heard there was a protein pill I was thrilled. Then I found
out it had 2 grams per pill or some outrageously low amount. To get the 30
grams per meal you want, you'd have to take the pills by the handful. So I
decided to skip the pills. Sorry I can't help you out more since I never
tried them. Maybe someone else has, and will have more information for
you. Good luck. S

The tablets simply do not provide enough protein to make it worth the money
or amount you'd have to take. It makes much more sense to try the various
protein shakes or bars if you want to supplement your protein intake.

Also, with predigested protein, they use some kind of acid to break it down
and predigest it. According to my brother in law who is a fitness
guru/muscle head ;) that acid does something to your kidneys or blood or
something, that isnt good. I can get more info if anyone is interested.
