How much did you have to lose to begin with, and how much more to go? How
long at a "stand still"? What are you eating, and how's your
exercise? More info's needed to help you out with this (maybe your
question got cut off?).

Hi Bobbie, 70lbs in under 5 months is great!! Your body may be trying to
play catch up to your weight loss. You could be losing inches instead of
weight right now. Plateau's are normal for many people even if they stick
to the programs. Your BMI shows 30.1, I am assuming that is post op. What
was your BMI pre-op?

Sounds very familiar to me. I lost 70 pounds in my first six months then
it stopped. I battled with the same 5 pounds for about 2 months. I was
convinced that I was doing everything right (except exercising). I started
to get depressed and I thought that I had lost all that I was going to.
After another month of feeling sorry for myself. I noticed that my body
was changing. My skin was firming up. I stepped back and really started
to pay attention to everything that I was putting into my mouth. My eating
habits had changed so much I thought that I was doing good. I found that I
was still making some bad choices. I increased my activity level slightly
and I started loosing again. Some of us loose slower but our bodies bounce
back better. I am one year out and have lost 91 pounds. Don't let these
little bumps in the road get you down. Re-evaluate and move forward. You
will get there it just takes time. Good Luck.
