Question:
encouragment for plastic surgery

I know when I first started looking into plastic surgery it was hard to find any questions about it. I just wanted to tell you that I had my abdominoplasty and brachioplasty (arms) done on Thursday. I have very very minimal pain. actually it's not even pain, it's discomfort where the staples are into my armpit and i have no pain in my stomach at all. I am a huge wimp when it comes to pain so I was really scared. Glad you're doing well and everything went fine. Had a question though. Staples?? He didn't use those on your tummy did he?? I'm kind of confused because my surgeon only does handstitching using a hidden type of stitch which minimizes scarring. Or were the staples something specific to the arms? Haven't had that one done.

My PS only does hand stitching also. He did my abdominoplasty and modified brachioplasty with hand stitching on both.

Yeah, me too on having no staples. I had and extended TT, extended brachioplasty and breastlift. Not ONE staple and all the sutures were under the skin with tape on the top. My scars are super thin!
