You can take a course to do medical transcription or insurance billing from
your home computer, you can start your own typing/word processing service
and type papers for college students, you can pet sit, baby sit, do some
sort of arts and craft and sell it at a weekend swap meet, just be creative
and think about what people in your area might need or what service could
you provide to make their life simpler. Good luck!

Just be careful about those at home courses on medical transcription and
medical billing as some are not legit.

You may want to try mystery shopping or merchandising. To research whether
or not this would be good for you go to volition.com

maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but soon and for the rest of your
life..... You need to stop thinking fat, and start thinking thin. it is
very hard to do, believe me I still have to pull myself away from the plus
size clothes and go to the "NORMAL SIZES" so you have to think
that you will probably want to get out with other people (AWAY FROM HOME)
you're gonna have a new body and confidence to go along with it. So trust
me you'll want to be out (think retail where you can get a discount on all
those new sizes you'll be needing!!!!!)good luck and happy losing

I have worked at home for almost 5 years as a medical transcriptionist, not
because of my size, but because I enjoy it. When my company started
sending some people home to work I jumped at the chance. I wouldn't change
anything. I still see other people in my life socially but I enjoy working
at home. GO FOR IT!!

I worked at uhc...ALOT of their employees work from home. You have to work
in the office during training and for 3-6 months...but then they let you
work from home, providing all the equiptment you may need to do so, and
allowing you to work whatever hours you want. I believe they still have
and office in maintland...(i think thats how you spell that) so not too
far. Other than the fact that they no longer pay for WLS...their benefits
are outstanding. Just a thought....there are many companies that allow
this type of work environment...you just need to look for them.

Some catalog companies like JC Penney have home based order takers on the
phone. Honestly once your recovered you would be better off with a job that
gets you out about and moving. Like walking all day on a belt loading
riders at Disney. My favorite place! Getting a PHYSICAL job there would get
you paid to exercise:)

I am working at home setting appointments for a discount prescription
service. You can work anytime from 9-9/7 days a week if you wish. They
only ask two things 1. you make at least 3 hours of calls per week (n a
quiet environment) and 2. you pay a $69 connection fee that is refunded to
you after 5 weeks if you make a minimum number of calls. If you are
interested write melanieokc2002 at aol.
It has a rating by the BBB so you can check it out.
It's just a suggestion.

HI! I sell Mary Kay Cosmetics part time and love it....I started my
business 3 years ago and held a lot of parties and now just service the
customers I started with....When my back pain was really bad I would hold
the skin care classes and facials at my home....It is wonderful. It's $100
for the start up kit and all the training and support you need is there for
you anyway you would like....meetings, video/dvd training, classes
etc....Now that I am over 50lbs thinner I am starting to feel like doing
more with my business. My self esteem is so great I feel less shy. It is
a great product and the %50 off for your makeup and skin care is an added
bonus. You can find a director to contact in your local phone book. Good
luck to you!
