In my opinion, yes. I was told to wait one year and you are past that so I
would say go for it! But, that is just my opinion. I can't wait to get
pregnant either!

There's a Yahoo group for those who had WLS and are now or want to get
pregnant. If you go to http:/groups.yahoo.com and do a search, you should
be able to find it. Good luck.

I was told to wait AT LEAST two years...the main reason being that you want
to be at a steady weight so you aren't droping 40 lbs in the middle of your
pregnancy. Personally, once I hit my goal (still pre-op mind you) I will
give myself a few months to learn to maintain that weight and then go for
it. Could be 1 year, could be 3 who knows. So my advice is...call your
doctor. Let him run some tests to make sure everything is fine and then go
for it. Remember to up your vitamins NOW before you get PG to help prevent
issues with that later. In fact, if you see your OB/GYN now, request to be
put on pre-nats now so your body will be in great shape for baby.
