Have your doc prescribe the PATCH - mine did and this is great - I only
have to change it every 3 days and it works wonderfully.... no problems at
all and my body absorbs all the estrogen instead of it going right through
me....

I had a Hys. 31/2 years ago, and since surgery I have been getting a shot
once a month, and they did have to lower my dosage. I have had no problems
since then.

I'm NOT giving medical advice just telling you my situation. I had a
complete hysterectomy a little over 2 years ago. I quit taking my hormones
within a few months because there are just too many side effects that could
induce some historical family medical problems. Once I got past the hot
flashes, everything is normal. Of course, I am one of the lucky ones that
didn't have raging hot flashes along with all the other menapausal
symptoms.
Just something to consider...not everyone needs hormone replacement
therapy. That's a decision that should never be made without medical
advice.
Good luck!
