I am a hemodialysis patient who wants to have WLS. Do you know anything about this?

Hi, I was talking to my sister in law just last night about this same thing. I was a dialysis nurse for several years and my sister in law has been for over 20 years. I dont know for sure, but I would think, that one of the things that would be an issue is the fact that you cant take in the required water after surgery, and protien being an issue also. I am interested to know what you find out. I know that the Dr that I use to work for and she still does, will not give permission for the surger to any HD patients. There is one now that is wanting the surgery but we highly doubt he will get approval. Good luck to you.
