Question:
Has anyone been approved by Catholic Healthcare West for the surgery?

Deborah: I live in Las Vegas, NV and work for SRDH (St. Rose Dominican Hospital) in Henderson, NV. It is CHW. The health insurance plan used by this facility is Sierra Healthcare Options, Inc. To get insurance approval as with many insurance companies you will have better success if you work with your PCP. The insurance company will need documentation of your health history. If you have co-morbidities and your reviewer sees that the surgery is medically necessary, you could possibly get approved. I got approval in April after my medical history and information was sent to the insurance company by the bariatric surgeon's office. I hope this information will help. P.S.
