HAS ANYONE BEEN APPROVED...

BY BCBS TRADIONAL INSURANCE FOR A HERNIA REPAIR AND TUMMY TUCK DONE AT THE SAME TIME? IF SO WHAT KIND OF DOCUMENTATION DO I HAVE TO HAVE. Girl, I am fighting the same thing as we speak. I've been denied and now I'm sending an appeal. Submit everything you can, however BC/BS require photos of the panniculus. If you have documentation of rashes send that too, also the same about back pain. I can send you the appeal letter I wrote if you would like. Email me at [email protected]

I was approved for an abdominal plasty and hernia repair by BCBS..One rule of thumb - SKIP the Level One appeal (you dont have to have level one to get a level two and level one is useless - they had a Urologist and a LPN review the request - which was denied. Level two; they had NO additional information really and was approved.
