Question:
How can I find out the % of how much excess body weight I have lost?
I cant seem to figure it out. I started at 320 and Im down to 227. What is the formula to figure this out? Thanks all! — sandrac131 (posted on May 8, 2003)

Well...you need to know what your goal weight is...that determines the
"excess" part of the equation. So...if you started out at
320...and, let's say that your goal is 150. You had 170 (320-150) pounds
of excess weight. You have already lost 93 pounds. So, if you divide 93
by 170 and adjust the decimal point to make it a percentage...you have lost
roughly 55% of your excess weight.
