Question:
I've had two C-Sections and now have a hernia.

How can I have WLS surgery with the (long) vertical scar from two c-sections, one in 1979 and 1987 and now I have the hernia. I am worried that they will turn me down because of the scar and hernia. Of course my stomach muscles are horrible and I'm just so worried about this. I know the Surgeon will have to answer those questions, but I wanted to see if anyone had an experience with this?    — Brenda B. (posted on May 5, 2003)

Hi! I had 4 C-sections in 5 years plus my gallbladder was removed prior to having my RNY. Good Luck!
