Question:
Seeking others with Cushing's Disease for Pre/Post Op Advice

I just recently found out that I have Cushing's disease and that my ability to heal would be compromised because of this disease. I was originally scheduled for surgery on March 14th but it had to be postponed because my triglycerides and cholosterol were so high and my diabetes was out of control. I'm still having testing to determine which side of my pituitary the tumor is on and then I have to go to UCLA to have surgery to remove it. My doctor also said that my diabetes may just go away because he thinks that this tumor brought it on in the first place. Does anyone on this sight have Cushing's disease. I need some input. I saw something on TV where a woman with Cushing's disease whose weight was due to the disease. She had been gaining weight despite the fact she was dieting and exercising. I don't know anymore about it but please make sure you find out everything you can, it could be that WLS isn't the solution.
