Question:
My Dr.m put in notes disscused diet exersice low sodium diet is that good enough?

For the insurance requirements of MD. supervised diets? She put in her notes some of them just say diet/exersice and 1 time she wrote low sodium diet exercise periodically they all have my weight is that enough? I have bcbs fl ppo they told me I have to have Md. supervised diest w/ Dr. notes...also another thing is that I have been seeing her since AUg.2002 but I didnt see her in Oct Nov and Dec. b/c she told me to come back in 4 months but she told me to keep following the diet does that still count when I went back in Jan. to see her she did put in notes cont. diet and exercise for obesity established .. I have Cigna and pretty much have the same situation with the doctors notes. Unfortunately it isn't enough for Cigna and I am now in the process of doing a 6 months supervised diet. I am one month into it so with a little luck or maybe a lot Cigna will qualify me for t his surgery come Sept. Good luck.
