I'm 2 months post-op and have experienced frequent hiccups after eating
also, and like you it dosen't last very long but I definately see a pattern
if I eat a little too fast. Not fast enough to cause much discomfort just
a little bit too fast.

I get 1 or 2 really strange sounding hiccups, that just burst out very
loudly! Can be embarrassing, but luckily I haven't had any other 'gas'
problems!

Yes, yes, yes!! I am 14 months post-op and still get hiccups after I eat.
It's my way of knowing that I am full and not to try one more bite.
Usually its just a few of them, but darn if they are not incredibly loud
sometimes..I rarely if ever hiccuped before surgery.

I am almost 4 months out and I too hiccup when I'm full or nearly full.
Like you said, they don't last long, it's just kind of a curiosity.

Hi Kathie...looks like you're in good company here! I also get hiccups
when I'm full. Somehow I think I'd rather sneeze though. I hate hiccups.
My remedy is to hold my breath for about 30 seconds and then just let it
out really slowly. That usually works. Hiccups just seem to me to be one
step short of throwing up, and I haven't vomited since surgery. And I
don't want to! Hugs, Joy

I also get hiccups and attribute them not to feeling full, but to eating
without drinking. This was a common occurrance with me even before
surgery.
